A New Online Banking Experience is Coming May 1, 2023!

What You Need to Know and Plan for Regarding this Change in Service

Harford Bank is pleased to announce that we will be transitioning to a new Online Banking Service May 1, 2023. This transition is part of a larger effort to update various systems and software used by the Bank for its normal, daily operations. While we internally work to enable this transition, we will endeavor to keep you informed about important steps you’ll need to take as we try to make the process easy for you. We will be communicating information in as many ways as possible. Please be on the lookout for information that will be sent through regular mail, online banking and posted on our website.

We’re working on moving items over to the new system—your username, address, contact numbers, etc. In this way, the adjustment curve for you will not be as dramatic as a first-time user. Please note that we will NOT be able to move over any ACCOUNT ALERTS or SCHEDULED ACH TRANSACTIONS. You will have to re-set them up yourself after the transition has occurred on or after May 1, 2023.

Impacts That You’ll Need to Plan For and Take Action For:

Friday, April 28, 2023 – Access to the Online Banking Service will be suspended, and an appropriate “Service Not Available” message will be displayed to those trying to access the service. The service is estimated to be down the remainder of that night, and all day Saturday through Sunday (April 28 - April 30). Harford Bank's mobile app will also be suspended during this time.

Monday, May 1, 2023 – Our goal is to have the new Online Banking Service available by start of business. You’ll be able to log in using your existing user name, but you will need to set a new password. Login instructions will be provided separately and closer to the live date.

You will be required to download the new Harford Bank app. The new app will be available on Google Play and iTunes on May 1, 2023. ** Please note: Customers must log into Online Banking via a web browser (to set their new password) before they can use the new app.

Bill Pay Service – Bill Pay will be disabled Thursday, April 27, 2023. It will be restored on Monday, May 1, 2023. Payment schedules will carry over to the new system. The user will not have to setup their payment schedules again.

You are a valued customer at Harford Bank.  We want to thank you in advance for your patience during this transition and are confident you will be pleased with our new and enhanced Online Banking Service.

Please remember, especially during this transition, while you may receive communication from us by email, we will never ask for your personal information or ask you to “log in” on a provided link.  Your online security is important to us, so please do not hesitate to contact us if you see anything suspicious.

We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you with new products and features. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us by phone at 410-272-3500 or visit your local branch. We will be happy to assist you in any way.

Sincerely,
Harford Bank
